What happens in a Canine Bowen Session?

A canine Bowen Session will take place in your own home and can last up to about an hour, including consultation and hands on.

If the dog is nervous or anxious, then the first session may only involve developing the trust of your dog along with a consultation but no hands on initially.

During the treatment session there are short intervals - determined either by the dog or by the therapist - which allow the dog to absorb the information given by the gentle moves, and allow fine adjustments to take place.

Please note that Canine Bowen Technique is complementary to, and not a substitute for veterinary care, and is only available on veterinary referral.
